Senior Energy Design Lead for Decarbonisation Grid Projects

Arup is seeking a Senior Energy Design Consultant to join our energy team in Johannesburg or Cape Town. You will lead delivery of energy projects, focusing on PV, wind, storage, green hydrogen and microgrids, with emphasis on grid connections and large-scale contexts.

The role blends technical advisory, project management and business development, mentoring junior engineers, and preparing bids and technical reports for clients in the South Africa and regional markets.
