Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong experience with C++ (versions 17 and 20)
• Embedded development in C on microcontrollers
• Linux GUI / Qt experience
• Experience within the medical device sector, including knowledge of IEC 62304

Responsibilities:

• Engage in the development of advanced embedded software for smart surgical appliances
• Collaborate with the R&D team on projects involving robotic interfaces
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards relevant to medical devices
• Perform testing and validation of software solutions
• Contribute to system designs and architectural decisions
