Position Overview
Senior Electrical Engineer within WSP’s Property & Buildings M&E Team, responsible for designing and delivering complex electrical systems for mission‑critical and high‑performance buildings across the GTA. Based in Thornhill or Downtown Toronto. Responsibilities
Lead design/development of power distribution, lighting, grounding, earthing, and lightning protection systems for new and retrofit projects. Prepare, review, and approve technical reports, drawings, and specifications. Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers and designers. Coordinate with mechanical, structural, architectural, and offshore design teams. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements. Build and maintain strong client relationships and support business development activities. Qualifications
