Senior Electrical Engineer – Mining (Ontario, Canada)
Overview
In this role, you will shape the electrical power systems that drive Canada’s mining, metals and industrial sectors. Based in one of our Ontario offices—ideally in Northern Ontario or the Greater Toronto Area—you will serve as a senior subject matter expert in electrical design for new construction, brownfield mining, metals, and other heavy industrial projects, influencing outcomes from concept through completion. Your work will help our clients operate safely, reliably, and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical power distribution and control systems that support safe, reliable industrial operations.
- Apply technical expertise to hazardous classification environments including flammable gases and combustible dusts.
- Conduct power system studies—load flow, short‑circuit, arc‑flash analysis—using tools such as ETAP or EasyPower.
