Job Summary

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Electronics is responsible for working with the Engineering Team on the design, development, and testing of switch‑mode power conversion equipment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design, development, and testing of switch‑mode power conversion equipment in the 100W to 100kW power range
• Work closely with firmware designers to define project firmware/software requirements
• Provide technical assistance to customers in support of new product development and legacy product support as required
• Review customer specifications and requirements and assist in the generation of bids and proposals
• Provide budget, cost and schedule inputs for engineering projects and job assignments
• Specify and evaluate supplier components, subsystems and services
