What you’ll do

Primary Function:

The Senior EHS Engineer manages an effective maintenance program that provides for a clean, comfortable, safe working environment for all personnel. Ensure compliance to STPS, SEMARNAT, ISO 14001, OSHA/ISO 45001, and MESH requirements and specific regulations applicable to the facility.

Essential Functions Maintain and ensure compliance for Management Environmental Safety & Health system (MESH). EHS Champion. EHS Champion / co champion of 8 MESH categories (Knowledge in electrical safety, LOTO, Machine guarding, confined Spaces, powered industrial vehicles, etc) as well as its legal compliance. Ensure Legal compliance of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Coordinate waste team. Ensure Clean Industry and Safe Company certifications. Manage FIFIs program.
