Capital One is seeking an experienced software engineering leader to build and grow our Technology Site in Mexico City.

The Senior Director of Software Engineering will lead a team dedicated to improving the software delivery experience, cloud governance, and well‑managed processes across our organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a high‑quality software engineering team.
• Support an aggressive recruiting agenda to staff a large (100+ person) engineering organization.
• Provide thought leadership on software delivery, cloud and risk engineering, and well‑managed practices.
• Encourage innovation, cutting‑edge technologies, and out‑of‑the‑box thinking.
• Lead craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions.
• Serve as primary contact with Capital One US Tech leaders to align resources and priorities.
