Job Description
- Designing, developing and monitoring all Oracle & Microsoft SQL Server Database objects and applications to meet the Business requirements
- Understanding design documents/ Clarifying precisely what actions the application is intended to perform in order to design stable, reliable and effective databases
- Adapting current applications to new requirements, as necessary/Combining all elements of the application and testing it/ Testing sample data-sets to check that output from the application works as intended
- Ensure all database programs meet Business requirements and performance requirements
- Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices
- Working as part of a team, which may be established purely for a particular project, to write a specific section of the application
