Senior Data Engineer

Our Digital & Technology group plays an important role in helping the Council use data, technology and innovation to support informed decision‑making for the city and our communities.

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help design, build, and evolve scalable, secure and reliable data and AI capabilities that meet the growing analytics needs across Council. In this role, you’ll bring your engineering expertise together with stakeholder collaboration and product thinking to help shape thoughtful, future‑focused solutions.

You will partner closely with business units and digital teams to co‑create high‑quality, trusted data products that support more effective use of data across the Council. As part of an innovative engineering team, you will contribute to solutions that make increasing use of automation, AI, and intelligent workflows – supporting the Council’s journey toward more AI‑assisted and adaptive ways of working.
