Senior Data Analytics Consultant – Contract

Responsibilities

• Designing and delivering advanced Power BI solutions, going well beyond standard dashboard development
• Writing complex DAX calculations and logic to support sophisticated analytical requirements
• Building semantic models that structure data logically and make it accessible for business users
• Writing and optimising SQL queries against cloud data platforms, with a strong focus on Databricks
• Applying UX principles to create dashboards that are not only functional but visually compelling and intuitive to navigate
• Designing interactive reports that allow users to actively explore and interrogate data
• Translating data into clear narratives - making the numbers sing and communicating the story behind them
• Partnering with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs and translating requirements into impactful outputs
