Job Title: Senior Care Assistant
Location: Richmond Witney Coral Springs Way, Witney, Oxfordshire, OX28 5DG
Salary: £14.70 per hour
Contract: Permanent (full-time / part-time)
Shift Pattern: 8am – 8pm – Weekends on rota
Welcome Bonus: £500 (subject to terms and conditions)
Responsibilities
- Day‑to‑day responsibility for running a unit.
- Managing and performing all clinical duties, including issuing medication, reviewing care plans and maintaining accurate records.
- Leading and supervising a team of Care Assistants and handling all shift handovers.
- Training, coaching and supervising new staff to ensure they feel welcomed and supported.
- Building relationships with residents, their families and external clinical teams such as GPs and district nurses.
