Senior Care Assistant
Church Farm Care Home, Church Farm Lane, East Wittering, Chichester PO20 8PT
Day shifts required – Full time.
Pay: £13.25 - £14.84 per hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Day‑to‑day responsibility for running a unit
- Responsible for issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and accurate record keeping
- Leading and managing a team of Care Assistants, including responsibility for all shift handovers of the teams
- Helping with training and supervision of new staff members so they feel welcomed and supported
- Building relationships with residents, their families and external teams such as GPs and District Nurses
- Assisting residents with a range of personal care duties
Qualifications & Skills
- Completed or working towards an NVQ3 in care (we support completion if needed)
