About the Role
A large insurance group is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join a squad responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and modernising a mainframe-based policy administration system, a business-critical platform supporting policy servicing, billing, payments, renewals, product changes, regulatory compliance and core operational processes.
This is a business-facing role, working directly with the Product Owner. You'll need enough fluency in the underlying COBOL/mainframe landscape to bridge conversations between business stakeholders and engineering teams, this isn't a technical BA role, but you need to be comfortable enough in that world to ask the right questions and translate confidently both ways.
