Senior Backup Engineer

For a client, we are currently looking for an experienced Senior Backup Engineer to join a global infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the enterprise backup environment, ensuring reliable and high-quality backup and recovery services for business‑critical systems.

Your Responsibilities

• Support backup and restore operational activities across the enterprise environment
• Collaborate on the planning, design, and execution of disaster recovery tests
• Implement and enhance monitoring and automation capabilities for backup and restore operations
• Contribute to the design and evolution of the backup infrastructure, supporting modernization initiatives, legacy system transformations, and migration projects
• Assist with infrastructure-related activities and participate in an on‑call support rotation
