Job Description
- Analyze and prepare reconciliations and complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and other reports for financial reporting (20%).
- Use sophisticated spreadsheet techniques and complicated finance and accounting principles to analyze monthly prepaids, accruals and other operational expense related items (25%).
- Gather and analyze financial and operational data to develop initiatives for improving the efficiency and overall effectiveness of the company's financial and accounting operations (35%).
- Use automated tools for reconciliation and profit and loss reporting, including Unix commands, SQL queries, and running scripts in Python (10%).
- Perform ad hoc reporting and execute accounting and auditing projects that require comprehensive data analysis (10%).
