Senior Accountant

 Direct the organization’s overall financial plans, policies, and accounting practices for the recording and maintenance of its fiscal records and financial reports. Responsible for the entire range of accounting / financial activity in a division or smaller entity, including budget, financial forecasting, audit investment, and tax accounting. Work is performed with significant autonomy and guided by regulation and generally accepted accounting practice.



2.0 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



2.1 Ensures maintenance of effective internal controls to assure safeguarding of assets and reliability of financial statements.



2.2 Prepares monthly financial statements and ensures their accuracy and timeliness.



2.3 Ensure compliance with any and all financial and contract reporting requirements for

private and public funding, licensing, or regulatory agencies.
