Job Description
We are looking for PMLD Teacher s or PMLD Support Professional s to work with children and young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) who are currently on a waiting list for specialist s school placement .
The purpose of this role is to ensure students remain engaged in meaningful education , learning, and communication while awaiting an appropriate school placement. Provision may take place in the home, community setting, or alternative education space.
Who would suit this role?
- A qualified Teacher with PMLD experience
- A HLTA or experienced SEN Support Staff with PMLD experience
- A Support Worker with strong PMLD experience who is confident leading structured learning sessions using Makaton
