SEND Learning Support Assistant

Overview

At Salfords Primary School we are seeking a caring and committed SEND Learning Support Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support – helping a child feel confident, included and able to thrive both in and beyond the classroom.

Work as a 1:1 SEND Learning Support Assistant for two days per week (Thursday & Friday) on a fixed‑term basis until August 2027.

Responsibilities & Duties

Your role will be pivotal in helping children feel they belong in our school and thrive both socially and academically.

Qualifications

• Good general education, including GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or 1:1 Teaching Assistant
• Ability to support learning activities, clarify instructions and engage children effectively
