The Opportunity
We are seeking a resilient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist PRU setting in Chard, supporting Key Stage 4 pupils. This is a full-time role with an immediate start, offering the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people who require additional support to re-engage with education. This specialist provision supports secondary-aged pupils who have experienced barriers to mainstream education, including SEMH needs, trauma, and behavioural challenges. The setting is known for its strong pastoral approach, focusing on building trust, promoting emotional wellbeing, and helping students develop the skills needed to move forward positively. Staff work closely together to provide consistency, structure, and encouragement.
Pay Rate - £14.50 per hour
