SEN Learning Support Assistant – Kettering

About the role

Justteachers is looking for a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming school in Kettering. This full-time role begins April 2026 and runs until December 2026. You will support pupils with additional needs, helping them access the curriculum and build confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide targeted SEN support within the classroom
• Assist with small group and one-to-one interventions
• Encourage communication and independence
• Support behaviour and engagement in lessons
• Work closely with teaching staff and SENCO

Pre‑requisites

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN
• Patient, flexible, and supportive attitude
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
• Two references within the last two years from a related field
