Without appreciable supervision, This position is responsible for administering security programs and procedures for classified and/or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment for an assigned area(s). The CPSO/CSSO will Initiate plans, projects, and develop a schedule in order to meet project goals.
The CPSO/CSSO will respond to a variety of inquiries of complex and diverse problems using a comprehensive knowledge of the CFR-117, DOD 5205.07 series, DOD 5200.01 series, ICD) and a complete and thorough understanding of established policies, procedures, and practices for safeguarding National Security Information.
