Responsibilities Serves as the Security Specialist for the Special Programs Command region. Responsible for contract management services for acquisitions involving Special Access Programs (SAP)and acquisitions requiring access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Independently evaluates the effectiveness of the Field security program. Implements security policy and procedures unique to the Special Program Command. Applies thorough knowledge of Executive orders, DoD security regulations, national directives and polices for agency compliance. Briefs management on clearance cycles, accreditation process and the overall status or other related security matters.
