The Security Supervisor is the senior leader for contracted security at Bow Valley College, responsible for overseeing daily security operations and ensuring all activities follow the College’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Acting as the voice of the security team, the supervisor supports Team Leads in training their staff, ensures assigned tasks are completed efficiently, and serves as the link between frontline security operations and the Manager of Security and Emergency Services. The role directs the workflow of Security Team Leads and Security Services personnel while supporting the Manager in maintaining a professional workforce through effective hiring, training, mentorship, ethical treatment, recognition, and leading by example.
