This is a full‑time, on‑site Security Officer role based in the Greater Halifax Metropolitan Area. The Security Officer will monitor and patrol assigned sites on foot or by vehicle to deter and detect risks, safety hazards, and unauthorized activities. Responsibilities include controlling access to facilities, verifying credentials, managing visitor entry, and maintaining a visible, professional presence. The role will respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies by following established protocols, documenting events, and notifying appropriate contacts or emergency services. The Security Officer will complete clear and accurate reports, log activities, and support incident investigations as needed. The position also involves providing customer‑service‑oriented support to clients, guests, and the public while upholding Apex Core Protection’s standards of professionalism, integrity, and community‑focused protection.
