Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities and Major Range and Test Facilities Base, NDAA 1125 (a) and (c). to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as a Security Guard, GS-0085-06 with the Joint Munitions Command at Tooele Army Depot, Law Enforcement & Security Division. Responsibilities Guard and patrol, on foot or by vehicle, controlled and limited security areas. Protect persons, property, and security information against hazards such as fire, espionage, trespass, theft, and accidental or willful. Ensure buildings are secure and there are no safety or security deficiencies and initiate the proper action to correct problems. Assist local authorities in the event of an emergency situation by setting up roadblocks, investigate accidents, enforce motor vehicle regulations, and direct traffic.
