Second Shift - Mechanical Assembler B

Description: The Mechanical Assembler - B Level is responsible for performing intermediate-level mechanical assembly tasks in support of the production of diamond turning machines. This role involves assembling precision mechanical components, subassemblies, and sytems used in high-accuracy diamond turning equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical assembly within a precision manufacturing environment and be comfortable working with tight tolderances, detailed documentation, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using hand tools, torque drivers, and precision measuring instruments including gage amplifiers, calipers and micrometers.
• Follow detailed blueprints, and engineering drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
• Perform alignment, calibration, and functional testing of mechanical assemblies.
