Job Description
Seat Plastics Engineer main responsibility is to lead the design and release of plastics parts for new models or on-going production development to the seat system, he is responsible to guide the development of the vehicle seats plastics based on all the design rules and requirements applicable for seats on early development phases, until his complete industrialization and integration into the complete vehicle.
+ Design, Develop, Release and Launch seat plastics through GPDS (PRE-PSC to J1).
+ **4 days On Site in GTBC FORD MÉXICO (Naucalpan, México)**
+ QWCT (Quality, Weight, Cost, Timing) management for assigned parts.
+ Attend program related meetings: To4, Seat plastics, EMMs, TDRMs, supplier meetings, purchasing meetings, etc. Some of them should be led by the D&R Engineer.
+ Develop and execute Seat component level Design Verification Plans, support vehicle/system level DVP, and ensure compliance to all System Design Specifications (SDS) and Federal Regulatio...
