Join the team at Wilsons Beach, NB as a seasonal Fish Processing Labourer. Work includes unloading fish, operating forklifts, and preparing fish for packaging every week.
This full-time position allows you to work directly on-site, handling fresh fish and shellfish with a pay of $18.28 hourly for 30 hours each week. Responsibilities include transporting, weighing, packing, and cleaning equipment after processing to ensure high standards of hygiene and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Unload fish and shellfish from vessels by hand
• Operate forklifts for transporting products safely
• Condition and pack fish filets for freezing
• Weigh and record fish or shellfish accurately
• Clean and maintain machines and work areas
Requirements:
• Ability to handle heavy loads up to 50 lbs
• Ready for physically demanding work conditions
• Must stand, bend, and crouch for extended periods
