Join a dynamic construction team as a Seasonal Carpenter in Smithers, BC. Focused on road and bridge projects, your skills in measuring, cutting, and assembling materials will be essential.
This full-time role requires a passion for hands-on work and supervision, as you lead a small team of workers. You’ll be tasked with maintaining and repairing wooden structures while ensuring safety protocols are followed at all heights. Flexibility to travel for various job sites is a must, as you’ll be constantly on the move across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials
• Supervise a crew of 3–4 workers
• Maintain and renovate wooden structures in diverse environments
• Erect scaffolding and working platforms
• Fabricate removable insulation pads and covers
