Scraper Operators
Thompson Construction Group is currently looking for Scraper Operators in our Fort McMurray area of operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate Scraper as it applies to stripping topsoil, hauling borrow and common excavation, sloping, support clean-up in excavations and embankments, etc. along with the ability to read grade stakes.
- Conduct a pre-operational equipment inspection checklist before operating.
- Understand, interpret and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area.
- Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance.
- Understand and adhere to all policies, procedures and standards.
- Participate in all safety and culture building programs.
- Perform work in a safe manner in accordance with Thompson Construction Group safe work practices, policies and procedures.
