We are currently searching for Scientist to independently provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Gaithersburg, MD.
+ Plan and execute the generation of stable cell lines for preclinical and clinical material production to advance candidates including monoclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins, and virus like particles.
+ Use molecular biology techniques, including RT-PCR and NGS (Next-generation sequencing), for genetic characterization of cell lines.
+ Perform gene synthesis including oligo synthesis, plasmid design, and construction.
