MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **SCI Security Specialist I** to join our team in **El Segundo, CA** .
This role supports the local Special Security Office (SSO) in managing day-to-day Collateral and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) activities to protect critical national security assets.
**Responsibilities**
+ Formulate local policies, plans, and procedures required to manage SCI protection functions in strict accordance with DoD, DNI, and Air Force regulations.
+ Maintain and update the SCI Billet Structure (SCIBS) and Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) records for over 1,000 indoctrinated personnel.
+ Review eligibility requests, conduct screening interviews, perform indoctrination briefings, and issue facility badge access.
+ Investigate security incidents alongside the SSO and ISSM, coordinate with higher headquarters for tracking numbers, and guide Inquiry Officials through the resolution process.
