About the job
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Architecture & Technical Consulting: Define SAP Basis / platform architecture, standards, and roadmaps (S/4HANA, HANA, SAP BTP, cloud) and act as technical design authority for platform decisions. Advise projects and stakeholders; challenge the as‑is and drive standardization, automation, and cost efficiency.
- Managed Service Partner Management (major): Steer managed service partners (SAP ECS, 3rd party MSP) that run day‑to‑day Basis operations; define, monitor, and enforce SLAs. Own governance, escalations, and accountability for delivery quality, and coordinate handovers, changes, and major incidents.
