Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and grow an established customer base while developing new business opportunities in assigned territories.

  • Trade commodity lumber and panels, balancing competitive pricing, market insight, and inventory turns to maximize profitability.

  • Build strong relationships with customers through consistent communication, exceptional service, and deep product knowledge.

  • Stay ahead of market trends by analyzing industry publications, mill reports, and competitor activity to position Taiga for success.

  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and branch operations to ensure on-time deliveries and customer satisfaction.

  • Drive sales of emerging Taiga product lines to diversify customer spending and expand category growth.

  • Participate in occasional customer visits, tradeshows, and industry events to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities.
