Safety Technician- 3rd shift

Safety Inspections and Hazard Identification

• Conduct & document routine plant safety inspections of production areas, yard operations, maintenance shops, and mobile equipment to identify unsafe conditions, unsafe behaviors, and regulatory compliance gaps. Bring awareness of findings to plant leadership.


• Support environmental compliance activities as assigned.


• Assist with mobile equipment safety monitoring (forklifts, cranes, loaders, yard trucks).

Incident Reporting and Investigation

• Assist in the investigation of workplace incidents, near misses, property damage, and injuries to help gather facts, conduct interviews, and document findings for root cause determination and preventive actions.
