Safety Supervisor

The Safety Supervisor supports safety and health processes within the local organization and assists the Safety Manager in leading safety and health efforts within the plant, including implementation and maintenance of a safety management system. ESSENTIAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field from an accredited university or college. DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Act as primary backup for the EHS Manager in their absence. Monitor and maintain compliance with federal and state OSHA requirements and applicable consensus standards. Provide direct support in developing and implementing facility policies and practices as part of efforts to achieve ISO 45001 certification.
