Safety Officer

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor compliance with DOLE OSH standards, construction safety guidelines, and company safety programs.
• Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit safety reports to management as required.
• Investigate work-related incidents, accidents, or near-misses, and recommend preventive measures.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety orientations for workers.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all workers.
• Coordinate with site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to enforce safety rules.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years working experience
• Computer literate for report generation
• Knowledgeable in OSH standards by DOLE
• Preferably knows how to drive and has a driver’s license (restrictions 1 & 2)
