Safety Officer 3

Role Overview:

• Formulates and recommends short- and long-term safety and pollution control plans and programs, solid waste management plans, and environmental, health & safety programs in compliance with labor standards, ra 9003, ra 1103.
• Maintains active membership in the local and national safety and pollution control organization(s) to keep abreast with the current trends in industrial safety and environmental protection practices.
• Submits Monthly Employee's Work Accident/Illness report every month to DOLE (WAIR).
• Review and evaluate work operations and exposure of workers to working conditions affecting their safety and health; determine and recommend the provision of appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Provide safety advice, information, and orientation to all employees, visitors, and contractors, and maintain an efficient accident record system.
