Safety Critical Engineering

Position Overview

Objective of the position: This role will support the development, implementation, validation, and continuous improvement of safety‑critical fastening and manufacturing processes that directly impact vehicle quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Operations, Maintenance, Product Engineering, and suppliers to ensure safety‑critical torque applications are properly designed, installed, documented, and maintained throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Support Safety Critical Tool projects for all DTNA Truck Plants, including tooling implementation, torque process validation, installation follow‑up, and documentation updates.
• Coordinate equipment procurement activities including specifications, RFQs, supplier reviews, quotes, installation, and buy‑off activities.
