Rolling Mill Operator-1st shift

Rolling Mill Production Operator 

Monday - Friday 4am-3:30pm

Monday:  6:00am – 2:30pm, Tuesday – Friday 4:00am – 3:30pm.

(once hired on FT they would move to the hourly matrix and be eligible for weekly production bonus)

Pay Rate: $18

JOB SUMMARY
Rolling Material to required size, assist rolling mill supervisor, assist during maintenance days, in any aspects of the mill and ensure
the tasks are complete.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Primary Responsibility
? Ensure all safe practices are followed and look for continuous improvement
? Use Ajax to size intermediate and finishing mills for set up
? Keeping all stands (1-16) at designed size
? Maintain communication with Mill adjust personnel to ensure finish product is prime quality
? Maintain expected production rates
? Inspection of new stands after installation in mill to ensure proper set-up before rolling
