A top Mining Company based in the Northern Cape Province, has a great opportunity for a Rock Engineer. This role will implement and co-ordinate the Geotechnical operations as per client needs and organisational requirements and giving assistance to the Superintendent: Geotechnical in providing a geotechnical service to mine management in both underground and surface environments. The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

•Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Mining Engineering or Civil Engineering.

•COM Certificate in Strata Control

•COM Certificate in Rock Mechanics.

•4 - 6 years’ experience in and knowledge of the Geotechnical / Mining field.

•Computer Literacy and Microsoft Office Suite.

•Software skills in CAD and database management (Intermediate)
