**As an RN Program Coordinator for Street Medicine, you will provide essential care and support to unhoused individuals living on the streets of Pittsburgh. This vital role involves direct patient engagement, addressing a wide range of healthcare needs, and making a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable populations. Prior experience with alcohol and substance use disorders or street medicine is a valuable asset**
This position works as part of a multidisciplinary team, including: Street nurse (this role), Street psychiatrist, Social workers / care coordinators, and DHS system partners.
Outreach
+ Meeting participants multiple times per week (w/someone from the disciplinary team- never alone)
+ Visiting encampments, shelters, streets, and community locations
+ Building trust with individuals who may not engage with health care
