Number of staff: 50 Staffing includes Charge nurses, RNs, LVNs, PCTs, and unit secretaries when grid allows.
Patient ratios: 5:1 on 4th floor; 6:1 on 5th floor.
Type of equipment: Remote telemetry, capnography, Alaris IV pumps, glucometers, dynamaps.
EMR system: Alterra (Allscripts).
Typical procedures performed include: All abdominal procedures: cholecystectomy, appendectomy, colectomy, diagnostic procedures, paracentesis, thoracentesis. Cardiac catheterizations, run-offs, gastric sleeve surgeries, total hip, knee, and s...
