RN - Med Surg
Contract position for an RN in Med Surg. The assignment is for 13 weeks. Shifts are from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The position involves rotating weekends. No call requirement is necessary. The unit has a total of 28 beds. Staff includes 32 FTEs. Day shift consists of 1 Charge Nurse, 6 RNs, and 3 PCTs. Night shift consists of 1 Charge Nurse, 6 RNs, and 3 PCTs. Patient ratios range from 5:1 to 6:1. Common equipment used includes Video EEG, Hoyer Lift, Bladder Scanner, Vital Sign Machine, and Telemetry. EMR system in use is Meditech. Candidates should be open to feedback and possess an owner mentality. Dress code requires navy blue scrubs with appropriate logos.
