ICU Registered Nurse
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Critical Care Unit. The unit has a total of 8 beds with a patient ratio of 2:1, and sometimes 3:1. Nurses will encounter a diverse adult patient population. Typical diagnoses in the unit include DKA, sepsis, respiratory failure, and post-heart catheterization care. Advanced skills required include knowledge of ventilators and medication drips. Proficient care of central venous catheters is necessary. Common procedures performed on the unit include bronchoscopy, placement of CVC lines and chest tubes, as well as bedside scopes. The team consists of skilled nurses with a strong sense of community and commitment to quality patient care. Nurses on this staff have a tenure of over five years, providing a stable and supportive environment for professional growth.
