A Government-supporting organization is seeking a junior Software/RF Engineer to support the development and testing of Software Defined Radio (SDR), radar, and communications systems. This individual will join a small team of engineers responsible for researching new technologies, developing proof-of-concept solutions, and supporting customer-focused RF programs. Approximately 25% of the role will involve literature reviews, technical research, and developing plans of action for emerging technologies and customer requirements. Roughly 50% of the role will focus on software development, including prototyping capabilities in MATLAB and implementing solutions in Python and C++. The engineer will also interface directly with laboratory test equipment and RF hardware to validate system performance and support the development of realistic radar and communications simulations.
