This role is to oversee the day-to-day service of the Restaurant and Cafe whilst supporting the team and working with them during shift, keeping the department compliant with all legislation and training and ensuring the highest standards of customer care.
Main duties of the job
This post covers the service needs of the hospital run retail units providing facilities for Patients, Visitors and staff to use, ensuring we have food and beverages available for them in a clean and safe welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Staff training and record keeping
- Communicating with Back of House
- Recording HACCp and ensuring allergen data is correct for all dishes
- Maintaining the restaurant team on top of filling, cleaning and keeping the service running smoothly during opening hours
