Position Overview
Nammo is seeking a permanent researcher / product development engineer to work as part of Nammo and the Finnish Defence Research Agency (PVTUTKL) within the joint energetic materials structure. The role involves conducting testing and analysis of energetic materials, performing technical background studies and literature reviews, and engaging in practical laboratory research. Responsibilities include planning and executing test and analysis arrangements, developing analytics, managing research projects, implementing agreed measures, and reporting findings. The researcher will analyse data, prepare memos, maintain documentation, and participate in joint research projects with stakeholders as a member of Nammo's R&D team.
The successful candidate will report to the product development manager at Nammo Vihtavuori Oy.
