Under the general direction of the Research Administration Manager and other Department leaders and in concert with other research administrative staff, bear primary responsibility for all phases of pre- and post-award administration for intra/extramurally funded research awards for Departmental Principal Investigators (PIs). The Research Administrator 2 is responsible for an assigned portfolio of extramural funds/contracts & grants for the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. The incumbent will serve as the research administrator for his/her assigned PIs assisting with both pre-award and post-award functions. Duties include but not limited to proposal submissions; grant/subaward/subcontract budget development; financial management and reporting; liaise with campus and funding agencies to provide information, budgets, and answer questions regarding proposals; act as department resource and liaison with OCGA to interpret policy, procedures, agency guidel...
