Relief Cafe Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Manage daily opening and closing procedures, ensuring all health, safety and hygiene protocols are strictly followed.
• Supervise and train staff.
• Oversee stock levels.
• Minimise wastage.
• Act as the primary point of escalation for customer concerns, resolving issues professionally.

The individual needs to be organised with strong customer service skills to ensure that visitors to the parks receive a quality café experience. You will report to the Catering Services Manager who is responsible for the four Country Park café sites. This post is considered by KCC to be a customer‑facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
